  1. Before getting into the process, you need to create a account, its basically a Huawei ID, Create ID here
  2. Log in and fill out the details needed:
  3. You also need to be ready with the Product Identification No., to get that, dial this ‘* # * # 1357946 # * # *
  4. Now you need to enable the USB debugging mode on your device from the settings menu, if you are unable to see the developers options, tap on the build number (Settings > About) until it stays you are a developer. Once that is done go back to the main settings and go to developer settings and enable OEM Unlock.
  5. It also requires ADB and Fastboot to be installed on your PC, here is, “How to Install Adb and Fastboot Within Seconds“.

Connect your device into the PC and authorize your device key so ADB will work, then type the following commands in the Minimal ADB and Fastboot window: (If you don’t know where to write the command, just go to the folder where you have installed ADB Fastboot and Right Click+Shift and select ‘open command prompt here’)

    adb reboot bootloader

  7.  Once your device enters into the fastboot mode, fire the below command,

    fastboot oem unlock 2062712452147427 (change the unlock code to yours)

  8. Keep in mind the above step will delete all your data so if you have any personal data back it up first.
  9. Boot up the phone and set it up.
  10. Download the TWRP recovery image for the link given above and copy it to the folder  Minimal Fastboot and ADB.
  11. Boot back into the bootloader by typing the following command:

    adb reboot bootloader

  12. Flash the recovery with the following command: Code:

    fastboot flash recovery twrp_kiwi.img

  13. Once it finishes, type the following command:

    fastboot reboot

  14. Download SuperSU zip from the link given above and copy it your device.
  15. Boot into recovery by typing the following:

    adb reboot recovery

  16. This will boot TWRP on your device, select Install and browse for the copied SuperSU zip file and then swipe to confirm/Install it.
  17. Reboot your device.
