Mlais M7 64-bit Lollipop running 5.5 inch 4G Phablet Review and Specs
Recently, Mlais have launched the Mlais M7, a flagship phone with 64bit SoC and integrated fingerprint scanner. Here are the complete review, full specifications and price.
Mlais had kept us on our toes all month with teasers of their new Mlais M7 device. Hot off the back of the Mlais M52 launch, the M7 has been a highly anticipated phone but what do you think now the final specifications are here? Keep reading and let us know.
The M7 will go up against the likes of the JiaYu S3, Ulefone Be Touch, iOcean Rock MT6752 and Elephone P7000, for the phone to pack anything less than a 64bit MT6752 chipset would have been suicide, so it is good to see the correct processor is on board and with a good 3GB RAM for ease of multi-tasking.
Design and Display
For many phone buyers, they prefer size, design and looks of the phone before the getting much into the features and hardware specs of the phone while purchasing. The Mlais M7 features with 5.5-inch IPS display that supports 1280 x 720 pixels of resolutions and around 300 PPI density. It comes screen protection from scratches and also supports multi-touch functionality.
At the first glance the Mlais M7 looks like HTC One M7, it has all the sensor that customers want in the phone. At the back side, there is 13 megapixels camera with LED flash and autofocus, and the brand logo is present at back bottom of the phone while at the front side there is a good 5 megapixels camera for selfie and video calls that deliver pretty nice quality and three (home, back and menu) capacitive buttons on front bottom of the phone. If going to the buttons and ports placement, on the left edge, there is a volume rocker keys and power/lock key while the right edge is clean.
There is only two color Black and White is available for pre-order, but in the future they might release some other color variant as well.
Hardware and performance
Under the hood, the phone is empowered by a 64-bit Octa- core MTK6752 processor which is clocking at 1.7 Ghz along with a ARM Mali760 MP2 and 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB expandable internal storage option up to 64 GB via TF card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop Mobile operating system out of the box and is packed with 2600mAh power Battery that delivers day long battery backup.
As the price tag of the device is not much, there will be unfair if we expect outstanding camera as well awesome hardware but still the device packs a decent 13 Megapixels of main camera placed at the top of the back side with flash and auto focus feature. In day light, it takes a really cool and vibrant picture but you might have to compromise with low light image capturing. Also, its 13 MP camera is able to record 1080p Full HD video at a rate of 30 frame per second wit included HDR, video stabilization, dual-video recording features.
For video calling and taking selfies, there is an awesome 5 MP of front shooter that even records video on the go.
Price and Bottomline
As the device hasn’t reached the market but few online resellers have listed the device for pre-order. Officially the device has the price tag of around $190 and after used the Coupon Code (M7GB) the price will be $171.89. According to Gearbest.com, there is no shipping charge on any item you buy.
